Happy New Year's !!!!!

Well I just played for 15 minutes this morning and won $200!! I'm done for today. Taylor & I are going out to have fun, go kart & games yea! Then New Year's Eve with my girl. As Chris Cagle says what a beautiful day! I have a big suprise for Kassi tonight. I know she's a lil stressed because some a-hole broke into her car last night. Hopefully this will make her feel alot better. I think she's deserves this. She has been working so hard and I know she doesn't feel like she ever can get ahead money wise. I want her to leave tomorrow with no worries so she can totally relax and enjoy her friends and family in Oregon. I am goin to do all I can to insure this because it will make ME happy. I'm a giver and I love to give everything I have to someone who deserves it. She does! As I said before What a Beautiful Day!!!!

Well I decided not to take a break.

So I'm +$500 since my last post. Went to Media Play's store closing sale and got 8 CDs for only $50. I got 50 Cent's new one, Big & Rich's latest, Toby Kieth's Greatest's Hits 2, Billy Squier's Greatest, Def Leppard Rock of Ages 2 disc collection, Garth Brooks, and one for Kassi I think she'll like. Taylor & I heading to Opryland to have fun it's our last night together. On a side note I've found out the kittys really like silly string. OMG it's the funniest thing I've ever seen. Tay & I almost crapped our pants we were laughting so hard. Im horrible

I'm inching closer to $20k in career tournament wins on Poker Stars. That doesn't include sit & go's. Just regular buy tournaments. Im so happy Ihave a bankroll for the WSOP in Tunica next week!!! My cashes on Poker Stars follows,courtesy of thepokerdb.com

I don't always win.

-$700 since last post. Oh well still up Over $1k since xmas. I ready for New Year's Eve. I have a feeling it's going to be the best one EVER, as long as someone doesn't party too much tonight. lol I proboly should not play for awhile. I'm tilting a lil bit right now. Not playing my A game right now. The ups and downs of the poker life. I'm heading to the WSOP Circuit event in Tunica next week. Can't wait. It will keep my mind off Kassi being gone. I'm very happy for her getting to go home.

Having Fun!

That's one of the things life is about right? Of course as long as you are responsible in other areas of your life. We'll I'm having fun +$430 so far today, lunch with kas, and spending the rest of the day with Taylor. I had fun with kassi and her friends from work last night, as you can see from the pic. I didn't sleep good so after lunch today i crashed till around 7pm. I've been checking into a limo for New Year's the lowest qoute I've gotten is $800. I've paid for half of it with my play today. I'm going to sleep on it.

+ $1500 it would be $2000 if I didn't play in the $530 buy in tournament Sunday. I played way to loose in it and busted out in 45 mins.I cashed in 2 small tourneys yesterday and all my profit is from $100 to $200 heads up matches. I really am ready to become a full time pro, get out of my apartment and travel alot. That's one of my 2006 resolutions. Quitting smoking, I've already begun my nicorette. lol

Kassi & I have decided to work our problems out together. I don't want to lose her and she doesn't want to lose me. I don't ever want to feel like she is going to miss out on something in life because of her relationship with me. I want her to know the opposite. She has the freedom to do what ever she wants to do. I want her to be happy. In the last few days I think she realizes that if she let me go she just might be doing what has caused her anxieties now, missing out on something great. Our philosphy now is one day at a time. I'm super low maintanence and she realizes it now, I think. I don't need much to be happy, I'm happy because she's going to be my Valentine!! :)

Today was wonderful. Taylor, Kassi's Family. I try to be very thoughtful, it's one of the most satisfying things to do in life for me. I love making others happy! It makes me happy!!! :) I will remeber the last 90 days very well and I know that 2006 will be the BEST year ever in my life. I really feel it!!!!

Kassi & I have decided to just date for now. It will be difficult for me because I don't trust myself in this situation. My heart is still wounded and if someone treats me well I'm going to have a hard time ignoring them. Hell that's what brought me and her together. I don't want to lose her, I still hurt because of the possibilty of losing her exsists and the fact that when something very hurtful to me happend in her life, she want's to break up, "just date" and possibly do it again. I only want her to be happy and if our relationship can't answer the questions she has, It might never be able to. I guess I'm a lil conceited, I know I'm a great catch, but if your not catching there's nothing I can do. I guess I could wait but it will not be easy. I feel like running away but something tells me to wait. I will for a while. As I said before when she leaves in a week it be a major test for me. I don't want to meet someone else, but If I do, I hope it's someone who wants the same things that I do. True Love, God, Family, is ready to travel the world and LIVE life outside the grasp of the grind. Dah that's why I didnt date under 30. There's nothing wrong with what Kassi wants right now in her life. I respect her descision about us. I understand but then I don't because I am the biggest BRAT.

Doing Well

Im +250 so far today and doing well in the $10 rebuy tourney down to 440 players Im in the top 100. 1st pays 13k. I'm excited about tomorrow. I haven't been out in a while. :)

The two Michael's....

Im +$200 so far today. That's good for having AA vs q7, KK vs 98, & AK vs A5 all cracked heads up, or I'd be up $500.

Im very conflicted right now. I have two voices in my head, thus the two Michael's. One is telling me to cut my losses and move on with my life, the other, which I've never heard before, is telling me to wait. I have been asked to wait, I've never done that before and vowed that I never would. One Michael is very bitter right now, the other is more understanding. The advise I get from others is run like hell, r u stupid or what? One Michael agrees with them, one thinks they don't understand the situation. I wish I could turn it off that quick. I'm not making a decision till next month. I am going to enjoy the holidays with my family and friends. I want to make the right decision and see what happens between now and then.I promised I would wait and not give up. I will for a while. Next month when everybody's gone will be the true test of me and my true feelings. Michael vs. Michael. One will be happy to be alone, one won't. One is ready to give up, one is not. One is ready to be single again, one is not. One is selfishly trying to protect me, the other loves unconditionally. I am bipolar!!! crap lol Sorry not taking drugs here. All I can do is pray for proper guidance, that is the true prescription. Problem is, will I listen? I hope so. No matter what happens I'll know I'll be fine, what ever the result, and I'm not worried about it, just conflicted. I know what I REALLY want and need, everybody that knows me knows too. Merry Christmas to ALL!!!!

Back in the saddle again.

+150 is a start. Playing better poker because I'm at peace once again. I won't be playing for a while with the holidays coming up , maybe a few head's up matches Fri, then proboly alot of play Sunday. It would be nice to get in the $500 nl tourney. I can say I'm neither happy or sad right now, I'm kinda nuetral. Does that mean Im bipolar? Plus with 500 miles of driving tomorrow it's kinda hard to get excited about starting at 5am. Oh, I might have a lil time to play tomorrow evening after all.Long as Taylor doesn't empty my account while I'm gone. lol I'm joking Taylor.

Communication.

This is paramount to any type relationship. Kassi and I are getting better at it. It's been hard for both of us, but neither of us are quick to draw lines in the sand. We may not communicate effectively all the time but I feel we are learning from our mistakes and we can both move foward in a positive way. I value her happiness over most anything in my life. I've never met someone who deserves it more than her. I never want to be the cause of any negativity in her life, ever.

On that note I thank the power of prayer. It has cleared my mind and saved my sanity. Christmas is going to be WONDERFUL this year and im so excited!!! But I still need a few stiff xmas drinks!! lol Im horrible.I've been losing my ass at poker because I've been playin while I'm emotionally drained, not a profitable combo at all and I know better I just didn't give a crap. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!

Why does life have to be so complicated? Why do people have to hurt? Love, what is it? What does it mean? Why can it be takin and givin so freely. What makes people change in ways that hurt me so badly? Why does temptation cause love to perish? Is it satan? I don't know. I have temptations I don't stop in my life. Smoking, just not truly being a child of god all of my life. I have temptations I can control because of the person I truly am. I guess it's your make up, your character. I have been wounded more deeply than I can ever remember. The worst part is if I deserved it I could deal with it so easily and move on. I can't deal with this and moving feels on like it will kill me. Im 38 yrs old, my lifelong dream is to have a family with someone who truly loves me, that's all I ever wanted. It's simple, but has been impossible to achieve in my lifetime. Yes I have a beautiful son, but I haven't had a family since my father passed when I was 14. Yes I've been married but I've never had a wife, a ring, a wedding. I've made it through life pretty well because of my abilty to block out what's really missing in my life ....Love & God. When u have what you think is love and it's gone without explaination it only highlights the dreams never achieved in my life. I feel so unfulfilled, yet is seems so simple. Love and God. That's all one ever needs to be truly happy and fulfilled.

The beauty of all this is the unconditional love of 3 people in my life Jesus, my Dad and my son. Without them I would perish. I have prayed about this and I have been given direction. My direction is to fight with all my might for someone very dear to me. No matter how bad I want to give up on them and move on. In the same prayer I realized that I must rededicate my life to christ if not just for me but for my son. I feel like today is a turning point of my life . I have two paths to chose from, the on on the right..God's path or the left ...the path of self destruction. I pray Iwill make the right choice. The 1st test will be Jan 1st when Taylor leaves and I will truly be here alone. I need to remember that God will always be with me. Oh this christmas is really beginning to suck. The worst part is I thought it would be the best one ever. Life is cruel sometimes. Least nobody has died. lol

Cha ching!!! Took me 20 minutes to win that!! Thats $25 a minute. LOL Well as you can see the roll continues. I figured I'd step it up today. Tuesday was a wild ride. I lost nearly $1000 playing $200 heads up matches and went from $1050 in my Pokerstars account to $60. So I played heads up for $50 and won, then heads up for $100 and won, then 3 more $100 heads up matches won all of them. So I now move back up to $200 matches and I go 4 wins vs 2 losses. I retire to bed with $630 now in my account. I wake Wednesday and go 4 and 2 again, back to where I started Tuesday $1050. Wow.
I definitely have gamble in me, or as they say in the poker world, "Balls". I sat down today and played a head's up for $500 against some dude in Europe, as you see in the above email, I love taking cash from freakin foriegners!! This is America's game dammitt!!. Now I'm up nearly $3000 since Vegas a month ago. Yes, a very nice Christmas bonus.
I found out that Taylor actually arrives at BNA tomorrow night!!! Yea!! Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

FSN Will Hold $60 Million Tournament

Players Will Buy In for $10 Million

Fox Sports Network has teamed up with soon-to-be-launched Mansionpoker.net to sponsor the largest single-table tournament in the history of poker.

The 43-week Mansionpoker.net Pokerdome Series is slated to debut on Sunday, May 15, 2006. A few weeks later, a six-person winner-take-all tournament takes place at the series’ first “mega-event” on July 12 in which the winner receives $60 million. Each player will buy in to the event for $10 million. Phil Ivey is the first person to sign up for the event. FSN will release a name of a participant a month until the entire field is set.

But that’s just the beginning.

The series will go on for the next three years and will be played in the soon-to-be-built “Pokerdome” arena. The Pokerdome will contain a poker table, complete with an automated card tracking system, integrated chip counting capabilities, hole card-cam, and robotic cameras focused on each player's face.

It will also come equipped with special cameras and card technology that allow viewers to see the burn cards before dealers flip the active cards, plus a rabbit-hunting camera for each hand, letting fans know what would have happened if each hand went to completion.

The first event will take place at the Crown Casino in Melbourne, Australia. The next two “mega-events,” which will be held in 2007 and 2008, will have prize pools of $75 million and $100 million.

Mansionpoker.net will be launched sometime in 2006.


12 days till xmas!! I've won $500 since Friday and that puts me + $2100 the last 2 weeks. For the first time in my semi-pro poker career I don't need my pay check on the 15th to pay bills. I hope this is the beginning of a full time pro career for me. We'll see. I'm playing a full 8 hrs tonight and I'm already +$100. As you can see Kassandra and I are ready for Christmas, are you?

Things are so good it's scary.

I'm up nearly $2,000 this week. I won $200 in less than an hour today. My relationship with Kassi is incredible, it's Christmas, and Taylor will be here soon. Life couldn't be going better, with the exception of someone who keeps antogonizing Kassi & I. I plan to play a full day tomorrow, I'll keep ya posted.

Enjoying the Fruits of My Labor...

I've had to work at my real job the last three days but I have managed to win another $150 since my last post in very limited play. Its very cold here, Im sure it is everywhere right now. Had a wonderful dinner with Kassi, her grand parents, and her family at the Aquarium cafe. What a neat place. I'd never been before. Taylor gets here in exactley one week. I'm so excited, especially since poker has provided my xmas bonus early this year. :)

Rough Poker Week

I'm basically even since Vegas. Gave it all back. Too bad I spent some of it lol. If I only had winning entires in this blog, you would know that I'm not truly chronicling my poker life. Well its a new day and I still have a good bankroll. I just have a feeling about Sunday's big tourney on Poker Stars. I better play.Have a great weekend ,I will for sure!!!

+$300 Today but.......

That doesnt make up for the -$850 I took on Sat & Sun. So I'm minus $550 since my last post. That makes me about + $700 since Vegas. It's the ups and downs of the poker life. You go thru both in poker, every player does. Poker so simulates life.

On a personal note Kassandra and I had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I'm so happy that she is in my life.The pic is my screensaver. Isn't she hot? Taylor gets here in 2 1/2 weeks. I can't wait!! Now I have to pony up for the XBox 360. Well its late and I'm what I call happy tired!! Cause I finally won today.In my last heads up match I was short stacked 190 vs 2790 in chips and I came back for the win!!!Pay at this window please! I am the Master!! lol

Steamin Baby!!

Another great week. I have won another $400 since my last post. That now puts me up $1127 since Vegas. Put up the tree with Kassi last night, as you can see.I had a great family Turkey Day, except for the Cowboys losing :( It was the damn uniforms. The same ones Washington beat them in earlier this year. When I saw them wearing them, I knew that they were going to lose. I hope Jerry can figure that out soon. Ditch those Biatches!! Glad I don't bet on football.

All is Good!!!

A great few days of poker. Im now up over $700 since Vegas! Last 2 days I've just played one heads up match for $100 and won and immediately put the $$ in my checking account. My short term goal is to pocket $100 a day. That's $3k a month in profit. If I can do that then I'm stepping up to $200 a day, then $300, then I'll quit my day job lol!Have a blessed day my friends, I am.

+$380 since getting back from Vegas 7 days ago. All in all a good week. Won most of it yesterday. I finshed 17th in the early $10 rebuy tourney on Poker Stars. That paid $360. Hello everyone!! I've been playing about 5 hrs a day since I got back from Vegas. Net +$150 for 20+ hours of play lol. Least I'm not losing. WOW!!! What a Trip!!

5 freaking days in Vegas, Tournament of Champions, the big game, all the pro's out, Jose Cuevro 1800 chilled, no sleep, and pictures galore.

I'm back home!! What a wild ride. Let me break in down on a day by day basis.

Monday head over for the start if day two for the Tournament of Champions, which will air Xmas eve on ESPN, you might see me on it. 30 players left, including Doyle Brunson, Phil Helmuth, Mike Matsow, Hoyt Corkins, "The Grinder" Michael Mizrachi, & Johhny Chan. After that I head over to the $4/$8 at the Belliago, 4 Hrs later +$240 and I won $300 on the Colts blowout of the Pats. + $540 for the 1st day!!!

Tuesday haed over to the final table at Tourny of Champs but too many people in line to watch. 0n too the Bellagio, 3 hrs later + $140. Now +$680 total. I have a work get together on Freemont St. I buy one of those yard long margaritas and it turns into a wild Vegas night with one of my producers named Jason and his wife. They have never been out of TN in their lives, so they are nuts and ready to party. I blow $150 on craps and keno of all things and another $250 on partying at Coyote Ugly with Jason and his wife. All nighter.

Wed. head over to my new job at the Bellagio. lol. I play er for 4 hours and am +$1 then in the next three I get up $250. While I'm playing the Big Game starts right behind me. Doyle Brunson, Jennifer Harman, Ted Forrest, Gus Hansen, Barry Greenstien, David Grey, Eli Elizra, Johhny Chan. They play a $2k/$4k mixed game of stud, ohmaha, low ball, 27, and holdem. Then after my Dinner break I finally , after playing 8 hours start playing like an amatuer and end up $-230 for the day. Im beat, I crash.

Thrusday I do this touristy things in the morning. See the casinos I haven't before, shop, then head back to the Bellagio to play. I loss $100 in about an hour so quit. I was playing good just horrible beats like my aa vs jj (river jack). Then I enter a $67 torney at the Luxour about 35 enteries and I finshed third to win $250. That put's me up $150 for the day. I want to check out the night clubs on my last night. So I head over to Coyote Ugly for a Yard Margarita, the RA at the Luxour (ho hum) then to Studio 54 at MGM it was the spot. One of the coolest clubs I've been in. Bout 3 a.m. I head back to the Luxour and find an interesting game. $50 buy in $1/$2 NL Holdem game. You can only buy in for $50 and can only rebuy if you have less than $50. Wow, I shy away from No Limit ring games because u can lose a few k on one hand like aa vs kk.
This was a game that allowed u to play without that danger. It was around 4 am when I sat down at the table with my McDonalds in hand and I'm drunk. I sit down and asct like an out of control tourist who does know what I'm doing. The 1st hand I get is AK. I'm all in for my $50. I lose to 1010. Next $50 all in I lose my 1010 to AK, next I lose JJ to A10, on and on I end up losing $250. I'm to bed at 7am with a 11am check out. Ouch

Friday after checking out I have till 3pm before my flight I play the NL game and suffer three bad beats all 2 or 3 outers and end up -$150 for the final day. So that makes me exactley even for the trip. LOL What the heck? We'll I should of had alot more profit, take out the bad beats and the 3hrs of fish play Wed night I would of been $1000 up. I'm over all happy with my live play. I played all cash games an only one tournament which I finished 3rd. Cash games are not my strong point. I really shy away from them, but this trip has really improved my cash game play and I'm alot more confident in it now.

I'm home a ready to get back to my online game. I'm ready for some big tourney's this weekend. The best part of my trip was coming home to Kas. She makes me so happy. Take care. I'll try to put up the pics tomorrow.

Last Online Action Before Vegas.

I got into the $215 buy in for $120 in the $10 rebuy satellitte. I busted out around 1800 of 3450 players. Then I won a $100 heads up match, so I'm -$27 for the day. That's it for poker today, I've got laundry, packing, and a 7:20 am flight to catch. My first stop will be Ceasars to check out the Tournament of Champions. Don't know if they will allow railbirds. I'll find out. I got kicked off the floor of the WSOP for using my camera phone. I'll see who I can get my picture with this time & post em here.

I dream of playing in this game someday. Nothin like a few $100k swings in one day. It really seperates the men from the boys. I'm sorry, also the girls from the women, please forgive me Jennifer. I partied too much last night at the Stage on Broadway with Rob and a few other friends. I was very hung over and didn't get to bed till 4:30. I'm playing in the big tourney @ 3:30 pm tomorrow on Poker Stars. Maybe I'll see you there. Maybe not. lol 1st should pay well over $100k once again. Does it have my name on it?

3 Days till Vegas!!

All the major players are going to be in Vegas while I'm there. I'll put up some pics when I get back. I didn't play today because I plan on playing a full schedule tomorrow. The beauty of poker as a job, you can play when ever you feel like it. Some advice to you beginners. Unless you get real lucky, it takes a few years of playing to get to a point where you can make a profit. It cost me over $40k to learn how to be a winning player and only became one after the World Series in which I cashed for around$32k in a side tournament. I havent used any of my own money since June, that's a record for me. I'm currently averaging about $1500 a month in profit since the WSOP. I hope my Vegas trip is the beginning of the end for my real job. Who knows it could be the end of my poker career lol. I'm planning to play in the WPT event in January at the Atlantis in the Bahamas. I'm playing in satelittes to win the $12k all expenses paid entry. I'll be there. 1st should be worth over a million.. I could go on and on but I'll give ya break. That was fun. I'm not proud of a few facts above, that's my life, I'm stickin to it! Maybe I'll post my pet peeve's next.

I will not be playing in the Harrah's Tournament of Champions

They haven't posted the schedule yet but the dates are the 6th thru 10th. I'll be there from the 7th till 11th. I'm back on my game so hopefully this means some major $$$. I wanted to win that tourney last night but I was the short stack with 11 players left and managed to finish 7th. My finall hand was all in with aj vs 88, I didn't catch. I was down to 58k in chips with the blinds of 10k/20k about to go up to 20k/40k. I played the best I could and the few mistakes I made were only against players with much smaller stacks. So I didn't risk much on my gambles. I did miss one hand with about 15 players left I caught 44 2nd utg and the gun raised 2 bets, I folded and sure enough a 4 came on the flop. Oh well.

Finally made a Final Table.

So if it was only a $5 entry, I finished 7th out of 1449 for a $238 win. Plus $200 for the day. Got half of that $400 back today. Yea!! Im done till Thursday night. Hope I can keep my focus. Some good poker advise & a dead Halloween ...

If you can't play your best poker game, it's simple, dont play. You must be mentally focused and clear in order to keep from going broke. If you are depressed or thinking too much about other things that are bothering you, you lose. That's exactley why I have lost $400 since Saturday. The ups and downs, the bad beats and of course the bad plays all arise when you're not mentally on your game. My ablity to recognize my problem allows me to address and correct it. Thus I'm playing winnig poker today. Cashed in my first tourney today that started with 1279 players, I finished 115th and am already in the money in the 2nd tourney today that started 1449 players.

On a personal note, Halloween was dead in Nashville. It's the biggest party of the year in many places. The most infamous place I've been for Halloween was 6th street in Austin. Kas & I went to dinner on Demonbraun (dead) , checked out Broadway (dead), went to The Slaughter House, which was a good haunted house for $10. After that we stopped by Silverados, on the way home, and it was hosting a swing dancers party.(what a joke) So we rented a few movies, bought a bottle of crown {4 me) and went home.

Well I'm 22 of 79 left in this tourney so I better go. Plus the Mavs are playing their opener vs Phoenix on TNT right now. I'll keep ya posted.

Build Up Before My Next Vegas Trip!!!

It's so calm, it's like the calm before the storm. 8 days to go. Found out I'm going to be staying at the Luxor. I've stayed there more than any hotel there in my 30+ trips . I've been comped the penthouse there, back in my professional baccarat days, in the mid 90's. It will bring back alot of memories. They have great jacuzzi suites there. I highly recommend them. 4 star and very romantic. If you know what I mean.

Poker has been pretty level. I'm -$14 since last post.lol. That accounts for about 8hrs of play. I can wait to play in Vegas. I'm playing very well since the WSOP. I plan to play alot today. I'm ready for a big win. I'll keep ya posted. Have a blessed day.

Good Day! +$160 Stuck in Elevator!

Though I was very tired a got some sleep and risked $15 to win $175, that's plus $160 today. Good enough for me . I have to get up @ 4:30 and head to Union City. Man, I feel like a truck driver. Kassi has a great journal about our trip. Refer to her journal @ http://kassikrueger.blogspot.com I couldn't describe the events any better than she did. The pic is the Irving Fire Dept. trying to save us from the trapped elevator at our hotel. I spent 2hrs in that box. Saturday morning. It wasn't fun.

Back Home in Nastville!

1500 miles round trip, 20hrs of driving, we had fun. It was neat to see all of my classmates again. As for poker, I did play in the Online Blogger Championship Sunday and like the Cowboys, I blew it. I doubled my chips by the first break, but ran into to pokect aces back to back (same player too!) and that busted me out. I plan to play some today. Get the good ole bankroll back up. I'll let you know how I do. Have to work tomorrow. Yuk. I'll post all the pics from my trip on my photo blog later.. I'm worn out.

Last post for a while...

Leaving for Dallas in less than 24 hours. It will be very fun. Found out we will be going to the Dallas Mavericks game Sunday night. My best friend Jimmy has season tickets. He invited Kassi & I to come with him and his wife Joelle. I've cashed out my bankroll from Poker Stars. I won't be playing till Sunday in the Online Blogger Poker Championship. I will be back Monday morning so that post will be very a interesting capsule of the trip with photos on my photo blog.

Haha!! Meet my two new additions to the family. Belle(the white one) and Jasmine!! Kassi and I picked them out Saturday. I love them so much!! I've been resistant on getting a pet for years. I get attached and then something tragic happens. With all of the family and pets that I've tragically lost over my life it's hard to start over. They are so cute and cuddly and potty trained too! Poker is still going well +150 today! Made another deposit into my checking account tonight from Poker Stars. Taylor is giving poker a break for a while. "It's too easy" he says, since he can only play on the computer or his Xbox on the weekend , the Xbox is more entertaining than spanking old guys at poker!! lol Dallas is only two days away and Vegas is 2 1/2 weeks away. There is a big poker tourney at Ceasars while I'm there, I should be in it. Got a three star hotel on Priceline for only $50 a night, at the Harvey DFW. Let's see here Kassi, 20yr reunion, State Fair of Texas, Six Flags, and the DFW nightlife, it will be a great weekend!!! Crap I gotta work tomorrow.

What a beautiful day in Nashville. It was work day for my church today. It was good to do some manual labor and sweat for a change. One of the best lessons in the Bible is that you must give in order to recieve. I love to give. Poker is going well I'm + $500 for the week. Played with David Williams Mom in the $30 rebuy WPT tourney last night. We chatted alot, a very nice lady. She cashed in 11th and I finished 28th, getting closer. lol

Tonight is my friend's birthday party, it should be fun. Happy birthday Rob. Seem's like everyone is having a birthday lately. Got your Powerball tickets yet? Saw the movie Elizabethtown last night it was ok. Best part was going with Kassi and her family. I really like them. Got Gary Allen's new CD, it's a good one!! I recommend it . In the McDonalds Monopoly game found out that Boardwalk and Tenneessee Ave are the rare pieces. Add those to Mediterranean Ave. Found out they will be showing the Dallas game locally here Yea!! Go Boys!! I'm getting ready to head to Dallas Wednesday night, I'm excited!!! Life is good, have a blessed day my friends!!!

I know, I said I was going to work today...

Well in a way I did. Can you say + $800?? I decided this morning to drive to Union City tomorrow. So I logged on to play world class poker and turned $25 into $825, plus $800 for the day. Won $175 in a $5 rebuy turbo tourney and the big win was for $650 in a $3 rebuy tourney. 169 players started and only the final two would win. When it was down to the final three, I was the short stack and the other two had at least a 3 to 1 chip advantage on me. Third only paid $33 a difference of $617. My world class skills solved that!! I really impressed myself with my play. No stupid bluffs this time. I've had problems on final tables lately, making fish mistakes, but not today baby. No way!!

Another Great Day!!!

Deposited money into my checking account from my Poker Stars account!!! Bout time. Kassi and I went to see the movie Waiting. It was very funny. If you work in the resturant industry its a must see. Kinda like the movie Used Cars, starring Kurt Russell, is for us car guys.

Well I have to work my real job today, so no poker till Thursday. I've been playing about 6 to 8 hrs everyday latley. I have to take a break or I will proboly go on tilt. I felt it coming on tonight. My experience has taught me when to take break, finally. LOL

The idoit fund got another $29 contribution today. Cap 1 nailed me for going .30 cents over my limit. No wonder Corporate America is one of my objects of assualt on my conspiracy blog.

My life is going so good now. I can't wait for Xmas. Tay will be here and it will be the first family Xmas I've really had in years. I'm so excited about the future in every aspect of my life except one...The good ole I.R.S. When you win and make big money they are kind of a nusiance. Oh well guess that's a good problem to have. Taxes, just another way to pad the mega-rich's pockets. I know all my tax money is going to Halliburton. I'm so thrilled about that.

As for last nights poker action I finished 36th in the $30 rebuy WPT PCA event last night. Thats an improvement of 20 places from Sunday. AQ has been my downfall lately. I know what a fish hand. Don't know if I'm playin tonight . My baby is coming over and we are going to see Elizabethtown or Waiting. I don't think Elizabethtown is out yet. Well I'm actually playing right now in a 500 fpp tourney to win $215. Just have to make the final table to win. Down to 98 now I'm 42 nd in chips. Have a great day!!!!

Check my August post archives, I predicted that McNabb was going to get blasted and boy did he ever. What a beautiful game!! Nothing like seeing T.O. and McNabb looking like they just got there butts royally kicked.

After the game Me and Kas went to my favorite resturant Casa Fiesta, shared a Monster Margarita and dinner. It was a great day!!!!

As for poker, no luck. Played in the $30 rebuy satelitte finished 58th and I went ahead and played in the $650 direct WPT PCA satelittle Saturday finished 124th. Oh well, I still have a $900 W$ bankroll.

My old home.

This is the USS Midway CV-41. I lived aboard her from 86-89 while homeported in Yokosuka, Japan. She was retired from service after being the lead carrier in the first Gulf War. She is now a museum at the Navy Pier in San Diego. http://midway.org I can't wait to take my son and visit her once again. I traveled the world aboard her. I visited Hong Kong, Austrailia, Phillippines, Korea, Thailand , and Africa while I was aboard. Many fond memories are aboard her. It's where I changed from a boy to a man. It's also where a initally commited my life to christ. The messenger was Zacharia Powers. He encouraged me to attend bible study with him and eventually saved me and my spiritual life. I would love to return to the exact spot where that happend. I think it will be a great father son moment when Taylor & I visit. Hopefully we can do it this summer or maybe spring break.
I decided not to play in the $650 WPT PCA Satellite today. I'll wait till I build my bank roll a little more. I have alot of time to qualify anyway. I've gotten alot of positive feedback from alot of Poker Stars players about my blog. Thanks guys.

Another $650 Win!! This one's on Kassi!!!

The roll continues my friends. This time it was a $25 rebuy satellite. I have to thank Kassi for this one. I was planning on heading down to the Stage on Broadway tonight but Kassi texted me, said she wanted to see me after she got off work, so I played poker till she came over and won another $650. That makes three $650 wins this week!! On top of that, my son Taylor transferred $100 from his Poker Stars account into mine. (Without permission he went on tilt and lost $200 out of my Poker Stars account this summer while I was at work) A 14 year old kickin butt on Poker Stars. lol. Well if college doesn't work out he has poker to fall back on as a career. I'm such a terrible role model. I guess we'll find out.

The Roll Continues....

I'm now +$1,200 for the week. Won another $650 WPT seat tonight. 10% of the way to the Bahamas!! I've won 2 $175 seats and 2 $650 seats. I cashed all of them out. I might play in the $650 satellite Saturday. Still debating it. Hopefully this is the path leading to Professional Pokerdom for Micadoo!! We'll see.

Turning $25 into $825. Online Blogger Poker Championship.

The beauty of poker!! It so pararells life. The ups and downs. The adulation of winning, the agony of defeat. Poker had not been nice to me for a while. Really since my son was here. When he was, I was playing top level poker. I won nearly $14,000 while he spent the summer with me. After he left I had some very emotional times to say the least. Subsequently I've lost nearly $2500 of that and spent the rest on fun, bills, toys and the idiot fund.

Well that turned to the better last night. As I said, I'm going to just play tourneys and see what happens. Well between three tourneys I invested less than $25 and I won $825. I won two of them. My play was world class. Further showing that Poker is not gambling if you know how to play. It's definetly a sport, much like any professional sport. My dream has always been to be a Professional Athlete. It's coming soon.

The last tourney I won was a $3 rebuy tourney to win $650 seat to the WPT Poker Stars Event satellite this Saturday. 280 people started and only the final 4 won $650. Well I cashed out that $650.

I went to church Sunday for the fourth straight week. This Sunday I realized that just going to church is not enough. I need to really dedicate myself to renewing my commitment to god. I am starting to do that. I'm not a religious freak, I just want to do the right thing. Always!!!

Another day in Paradise

Well well, Poker is not going to well. Call me the bubble boy. Yes I love playing for three or four hours to take those bad beats right before the bubble. I'm taking it easy for a while. Played for over 8 hrs today and netted a $16 profit. Least I did'nt lose. Placed 13th out of 1397 players in a $10 tourney. Busted out with pokect nines vs J 10. I played good, made 1 mistake my ACE 10 vs QQ but got bailed out by hitting a straight. Hopefully today will be a good day. We'll see.......

Even though I made a deposit yesterday Amsouth managed to charge me another$64 in NSF fees. Total now = $214. Nothing like totally free checking!!! I sent an email to Chase accusing them of a glitch in their on bill pay, lol, and I'm going to Amsouth and will use my people skills to see how much I can get back with my sob story. We'll see. I'm shooting for $124 and a refund of my cash advance fees from Chase. This has bummed me out a lil today. Tonight Kassi is collecting her Poker Party winnings with the other players at Steel N Fiddle. So I know I will be in great spirits later. I'll let u know how my struggle against corporate America goes.

Oh the wonders of paying my bills online. No stamps, no worries right? Wrong. Some how I was tryin to pay my Chase credit card like $60. I thought I clicked and entered everything correctly. I went on my merry way, till yesterday at lunch. "I'm sorry sir you check card has been declined" What???? this is joke right, run it again, I've got over $1600 my account. "sorry sir it was declined again." WTF. So I pay with a credit card and proceed to call my 24hr teller @ Amsouth. " your current balance is OVERDRAWN $841 dollars" Do what!!! I'm thinkin somebody has stole my account info or somethin along those lines. So I push #3 for my last 10 transactions, ah ha, I'll find out what's going on. Bingo "electronic debit for $1,936" Think Mic, what is that, Damn that's my balance on my Chase card. Call Chase "your current balance is $27, avalible credit $2473" Double Bingo. Idiot. I swear, I made the online payment right, but I guess not. So child support check bounced and I have been charged $150 in NSF Fees. I had $500 in over draft protection which worked against me because they would not of paid Chase unless I had that. So today I had to now go cash advance enough from my Chase card to cover my checking acct, call the ex , hope she believes I still have a job, and let her know the money is now there. If you know Necia this is not an easy task. She's a show me the money kinda gal. lol
To some it up in a nutshell to save 37 cents it cost me around $200 and that to my $500 insurance ded for plowing mailboxes last week that's -$700 in two weeks just for not paying attention. Oh the beauties of online bill pay & overdraft protection. SCREW THEM BOTH!!! lol. No wonder I've made over two million dollars in my life and still almost living paycheck to paycheck. Maybe Kassi can staighten me out. My problem is when I have money it's time to have fun. I need to learn how to slow down and save. Most important I need to pay attention and quit being such an IDIOT!!!

The Poker Party!!!! My Baby, Is poker gambling??

I had 4 friends over last night for a Poker Party as we call it. We had a blast. We all decided to play a tournament with the entry fee being a shot or drink Saturday night for the winner. It was Jared , Joey, Kassi, Britt & I. Guess who got last...Me the poker pro wanna be. Guess who won? Kassi, A first time player of course. We had a blast. I'm getting ready for my Vegas trip and High School reunion next month. (now that I have a date) I'm excited!!! As I wrote in my blog a few days ago I'm the happiest that I can ever remember being, except for when my son was born. So life is good. I am so ready for the future. I'm going to start 2 new blogs in the next few days. One will be a comdey blog which I will TRY to showcase my sense of humour. The other will be an effort to get George Bush Impeached for derilliction of duty. Im sick of that a-hole. I know I can't spell. I don't care...lol I'm so proud of my new girlfriend Kassi I just have to post another pic of her. I'm so lucky!!!!

FYI non-poker players, poker is gambling if you don't know how to play, it's not gambling if you can play. It's a great source of revenue and in my case its a sport much like pro golf or what ever. The best in this business make millions every year, not because they are gambling, because of their skills and expertise. They are professionals. I'll be there soon.

I'm the happiest in my life right now!!

I have reached a place I never knew I could find again, total bliss. Thanks to god. Thank you Kassi. I am reconnecting with god again. The only therapist that works. By doing that my life has drastically changed. I have a new best friend. I have no worries. I'm putting my life back in god's hands again. I'm so happy. I've found what I've always dreamed of. ..someone who is absolutely adorable and pure who wants to make me very happy. All my decisions have been based on alot of prayer and me knowing who really would be there for me in the end. I don't regret any of my choices since I met her. I took a big chance on TRUE love and now have it. That's all I've ever dreamed of in my life. Watch out poker world cause here I come!!!

I had a free ticket to Texas Stadium and a $55 r/t air fare to Dallas for tonights game and I'm sitting here watching it @ home on t.v. writing my blog. What happend you ask? Alot. First I sideswiped some mail boxes on a good ole 2 lane country road. (-$500 deductible). Second, my AA frequent flier miles expired two days before I tried to redeem them for the$55 ticket. Third, I figured God was telling me not to go, I figured something bad was going to happen if I left. So I ended up having a great Saturday night, the best one that I can ever remember in my life. I wouldn't of had as much fun in Dallas for sure.

Ok since the WSOP in Vegas. I've Won $12,400 but have lost $8500 net profit $3,900. I ran my new Trailblazer into some mailboxes couple of days ago, tried to ruin my friends birthday, gained total job security, getting sent to Vegas by my job for a week, and became a lil closer to God. I'm Better!!!

I was down the other day for alot of reasons, mainly I lost my second biggest account @ work Wednesday, and my crappy poker play. In poker lingo, I played like a donkey. I was playing my cards in life the same way. I said I knew what I had to do, and I've made some changes, it's a start of alot more to come. Good news is I'm happy. A lil stressed sometimes, but stress makes me take action. I feel great about my future whatever it brings. My life has been a great adventure with many valleys and peaks. I'm ready for some more. Hopefully more peaks than valleys. My 20 High School reunion is next month. We have a close class that stays in decent contact. Our ten year reunion was a blast. This one should be better. It's always a three day event over a weekend. We intergrate all aspects of fun socialism. A bar party Friday, a formal party Sat, and a a Sunday get together at the lake. I didn't go to my prom because I was too shy to ask anyone. I did have a great date at the 10yr reunion. Don't have one yet for this one. Stay Tuned...

My Head's Not In it Right Now.

I wish I could talk more about it, but things have happend in the last few weeks that I know are effecting my play and more importantly my life. I've dealt with alot of stuff in my life but this situation is unique to me. I'm not living life right. Im correcting it immediately. I need to take a break from trying to win at poker and start winning in my spritual life. I am very blessed and fortunate. I am the best dad in the world, I have a beautiful son, I'm damn good at what I do professionally, and have lived a life many dream of, except for one area, the 2nd MOST important to me. (Most important is my relationship with the Lord). My issues and problems pale in comparison to 99% of the rest of the world right now. I feel very selfish and that really pisses me off. I say what I feel without thinking of the effect it has on others. I've let myself , more importantly others, down and I'm not happy bout it. Good thing is I know how to correct it and I am.

Mo wasn't a profitable venture, if u couldn't tell by the way this post started, but it took me 6 hours to lose $200 @ 3/6. lol I played like an idiot alomost every junk hand (3/6 allows u to do that)and had kk, kk, qq all beat down back to back to back. I'm taking a freaking break. I should of just sent $1200 to the Red Cross this week and I'd feel better than I do now. I know I would... I'll be ok. Im a survivor.......always have, always will..Mic

I'm on my way to Caruthersville, MO and the Aztar Casino. I mentioned I played there before the WSOP. I ready for all those retired calling stations. I need to win back some of the $1000 I've lost on Pokerstars last week and half. . Hope my next post is about profit!! jeese.....

I'm a better live player than net?

Since my trip to Tunica Pokerstars has been wearing me out (- $800) since sunday, which I won $400 that day. I'm playing good, just losing 75% of the coin flips, and 50% of the 75% favorites, plus a few bad calls late in tourneys. That's poker! WCOOP starts in 3 days!!!! I was + $2200 in last year's events. Hope I still have a bankroll by then. Wished I lived closer to my new ATM, Tunica!!! I need a good session before my next post. Please bless me ole mighty poker gods, bless me. I've donated $200 to the Red Cross for hurricane relief efforts and I encourage all to do the same. I'm glad to live very high up in Tenneessee!!!!

My old bookie wins WSOP CIRCUIT $10k MAIN EVENT.

Gregg Merkow, my ex-bookie, won the latest WSOP Circuit event in Tunica. He won over $550K with a $1000 investment. I still owe Gregg some $$$ from my degenerate gambler days. He didn't recognize me when I was a railbird shooting pics with my new camera phone. Maybe he wont beat my ass now. lol. Congrats Gregg!! Guess if I make it in poker, we will meet again. lol.
Well stupid ass me, show's up in Tunica on Tues, hoping to qualify for the main event thru a satellitte, but the main event is already down to 27 players. I'm an idiot. I know who's fault that is..and it starts with a B. Man Im so discombullated lately. Oh well, thats what new friends can do to you. With nothing to play but ring games it was time to head to the Horseshoe and play some serious 10/20. 36hrs later I'm up $1300. That's two great Tunica runs now. Does that mean I'm getting closer of my dream of professional pokerdome? I wish. I found some WPT boxers for only $3 today. I rock!! Leavin today for tunica. Its super and mega satellitte time wednesday. Hope hope hope. All I need is that $10k buy in and I'll make it to the final table!!!! I always wanted to be be a pro athlete on ESPN, thought it would be through baseball, not poker. My boys looked decent on MNF. That 1st round pick Ware is a bad ass!!! Did u see that interception? That dude is a d lineman wtf? This dude looks better than LT. Watch out Mcnabb!!! Ur gonna get hurt. Im done...Played quarters for the 1st time since college tonight. HAVENT' DRANK ON A WEEKDAY IN OVER 5 YEARS. Im so bad. it's 2:48 im going to my nice soft bed. Blog ya soon.

Back from Tunica with a profit.

Played in WSOP event # 4 Tuesday. I had more chips after the 1st break than I did in event #1, but I played way too loose. I made a all in bluff for my last $800 in chips with Q4 and was called by a 98 suited and he paired up. Not my tourney I guess. The night before I played 4/8 at the grand and lost like $40 over 3 hrs of play. After Event #4 I wanted to win my $340 buyin back in 4/8 at the horseshoe. I proceeded to play bad and lost another $140. So I went back to the grand and got serious and stepped up to 10/20. Over the next 12hrs I proceeded to win $1550. I was at a great table. Perfect combo of good and bad players. Got payed off on every hand. I even hit quads and raked a huge pot. I also met Bryan Micon of NWP, cool dude. The only pro I saw around was Matt Dean. The next day I played in 2 one table WSOP satellittes and lost $350. After that I had to leave for Union City. I'm planning to head back for the megasatellittes for the $10k main event which starts a week from monday. Playin online Sunday on PS sunday $215 tourn. On a personal note I met the most beautiful person last night and my head is still spinnin'. That's extremely rare 4 me. The pic is of my payout of my 61st place in Event #1.

61st PLACE WSOP CIRCUIT EVENT #1

873 players started the day . I got blinded out after 10 hrs of play and pocketed $510. I now have Career WSOP Earnimgs LOL. I played well but made some mistakes early by not bluffing enough. I got lucky only once and i had an opened st8 on the flop to win that. I lost all of the coin flips but always had a big chip advantage in those situations. I got to play on the ESPN FINAL TABLE when we got down to 7 tables. I saw about 50 hands and never got a card and got blinded out. I was in the bb for $3k with only $3k in my stack left. A3 in the hole im all in vs aa. Goodnite MICADOO. Lets see 10hrs of play im +$170. Ummmh the luxury of playing online. I won $130 the day before in Caruthersville, MO at the Aztar Casino playin 4/8 for about 2hrs. A table of call stations. Old retired guys. I could make a living on that boat. lol Wish I could of stayed longer but I had to get to Tunica and register for the WSOP event. I'm planning to head back for event # 4 tuesday. Hopefully we can make the final table this time. lol
