Why I love Google Plus over Facebook & Twitter

I have received a lot of flack from my friends on Facebook for being so excited about my experience on Google Plus so I need to tell you why you will be as excited as I am right now in the very near future.

1. I was a My Space clinger! I loved My Space and when my friends started leaving for Facebook I was a hater, a resister, and very short sited. Basically I just was lazy to adopt a better form of social media for ME. This is exactly what's happening now with the resistance to move from Facebook to Google Plus. I learned my lesson from my own resistance to move from My Space to Facebook and vowed I would NEVER be left behind again! I will lead the charge next time. Well here we are!!

2. Google Plus is better FLAT OUT! It's clean, spam free, I can hangout with 10 people via video chat at once on some amazing technology. I can filter not only my posting to certain CIRCLES of friends, I can filter the incoming postings by the CIRCLES I have set up on my own. I can make as many circles as I want to, I can name them Inner Circle, Work People, Barely Know, Acquaintances, Haters, Spammers, Party Bros, whatever I want to name them. I can do none of this on Facebook or Twitter, EVERYONE sees EVERY post I do and I see everyone of theirs. This circle/ privacy feature alone should give anyone a fantastic reason to make the move.

3. The Social Hangouts. All I can say is WOW! I personally spent over an hour with Michael Dell in MY hangout. He met my son, we talked business and Texas Longhorns. Where else could I've of done this? I have now taken his idea of a live Google Hangout as a CSR website conversion tool and put it into action with amazing results. I have also hung out for hours with the top executives/engineers of Google, CEOs of major companies, and investors looking for the next big thing.

4. My interaction on Google Plus is now more than on FB or Twitter. I have amassed over +1400 relevant business contacts in just 7 weeks of logging in for the first time. I get more likes (+1's on G+) and comments there than any other form of Social Media I use.

5. The business ramifications. All your PUBLIC postings are are entered into the Google search engine. No other form of social media does that. Each +1 a public post gets increases the search engine ranking. The hangouts for business use are mind blowing. You can't Skype 10 people at once via video chat. Plus Google Hangouts don't use as much of your system as Skype does. So a much smoother experience. I can't count how many times Skype has locked up my PC.

True you go over set up a Google plus account today and it will seem very lonely. My advice just interact, your social world will change forever. The easiest way to start is just circle the people in my circles. Then boom your off! Don't be like I was 4 years ago, "Don't tell me to leave MY Space for Facebook! Most of you proboly have not heard of JTV but I highly recommend you check it out. It is a site that allows you to broadcast, via web cam, on the internet. You can also watch anyone who has set up a channel. My favorite is East Coast Vegas . As you can see I have set up my own channel. I have not broadcasted yet, but will be in the next few weeks. My channel will be dedicated to mainly online poker discussion and JTV gossip. I am thinking of just doing a regular show vs "lifecasting". Lifecasting is people who broadcast thier lives on the internet 24/7, kinda boring I think. Warning though this site is very addicting. You can say its like MySpace on crack, check it out let me know if you are going to set up your own channel so I can check it out.

I'm back on Bodog now because they are paying me faster than PokerStars is. I'm still waiting on a check from Stars issued 11/26, Bodog is paying in 3 days via Fedex. I think someone stole my Stars check in the mail system. Stars says I have to wait till the 16th to cancel the check...we'll see how that goes. Good thing I don't need it...now. Bodog bailed me out this time. I have some very exciting news about me being live on the net soon. Stay tuned. Like the pic?? lol

Things have been amazingly nomal since I last posted. I'm absolutely in love and still playing poker online for a living. Yep pretty boing. I'm still not making what my real job paid but I'm on a heater right now in mtt's, and had some near misses at some $10k plus cashes in the past few days. Bottom line is I'm a large +even player this year and I am getting better everyday and the big $$$ is about to hit. Mark my words. Plus it's time for me and K to go on a fun vaction. She's never been to Vegas or Cancun so that's proboly one of the places we are going. Hopefully in the next few weeks.

Beyond that I love fall weather in Texas...perfect temps. Went to the Cowboy game Sunday night and lost my $300 razor phone at the game. A good samaritian turned it into the stadium office and I got it back. When I went to pick it up, Tony Romo got in his suburban right next to me. He had a huge smile on his face. Wonder why?? lol

I started playing Stars again because of the payout problems @ Bodog. I've run up $100 too 2.1k in a week. Cashed out $1100 today and playing the Sunday Million tomorrow for the first time in a while. Be nice to final table that. Otherwise everything is good. Happy to be back winning on stars again.

It was a big adjustment coming back to Stars from Bodog. I had a lil trouble adjusting to the bigger fields. (not being patient) But I did and got a 4th place cash for $1371 last night. Then made another $400 today. I'm on a good roll the last 6 mos.

My Email to Calvin Ayre got some answers to Bodogs Payout Issues....

Yesterday I sent Calvin Ayre an email stating my displeasure with their slow payout issues now than WU is no longer an option. I am a member of the Bodog Advisory Council and sent the following email on behalf of online poker players...

Hey Calvin,

My name is Michael acct#xxxxxxx and I've used your site exclusively since December for a sports book and poker room. I am a professional poker player and I make my living online. I never had any issues with withdrawals till now. Since we lost the western union option its seems a little ridiculous that the fastest I can get a payout is 4 weeks via courier? That's horrible customer service, the poker forums (2+2) are now a buzz about worries about getting payouts from Bodog. I don't know if you are aware of the damage your poker room is getting because of the payout issues. I have a 4 figure payout pending since the 18th and am very disappointed that I really have no clue when to expect it. I only get an email from the payout dept stating that Bodog is backlogged and it will take a while. That sucks, How long does it take to cut a check and Fedex it ? 20 business days? I was promoting your poker room in my website and to my poker friends but now I can't do that with the current payout situation. I love your poker room! It makes me alot of money, I DON'T WANT TO LEAVE BODOG! Please is there anything you can do to speed up the payout process???

Well in less than 24 hrs I recieved a phone call from Justin the Poker Room General Manager who Calvin personally wanted to address with me the current payout issues. He told me it's all to do with the UIGEA heat on banks. Bodog can only get its banks to process X amount of dollars in payouts a day. Apparently their banks are worried about getting busted paying players via checks drawn thru their bank. This is also the reason for the loss of WU too. According to Justin, the money is out of Bodog's hands and in their banks hands the minute it is taken out of your for payout. Getting their last minute WSOP qualifiers their money has slowed the process of paying other players the last few days. He explained that they are actively looking for better payment methods. While this did reassure me that everyone will eventually get any payout, it still sucks that it could still take a month. I guess once I get pass the lag of 20 business days and get payouts weekly after that it I won't be as upset. The good thing is Calvin does read his email and gives a decent reply to why this problem has manifested. Blame it on Bill Frist once again. Bodog in my opinion is not trying to screw anyone on payouts, it's just dealing with the UIGEA. The best they can though? That remains to be seen, but I am impressed on the response I got from Calvin Ayre and Justin the Poker Room Mgr. Kudos.

Guess that's what I get for being a myspace bully this weekend. It's wierd I enjoy tourney play more than cash play lately. I did have some cashes this weekend though but nothing major. I've logged a about a 100hrs in the biggest nl game the 10/20. That game will get your heart pumping. I've learned that set over set is the biggest winning hand and the biggest ass fuck you can get in that game, and of course there's always good ole AA vs KK too.

I hate Don Imus but what has happened to him is absurd. What happen to free speach? This is ridiculous. Well not having any banking options to play online I tried ewallet and was able to play online instead of traveling to Shreveport to grind it out for a few days. Well my decision to stay home didnt pay off yesterday..I ended up -200...but today was a different story..I won Bodog's $8500 afternoon guaranteed tourney for $2330!! Yes! My back has been against the wall lately and finally the luck factor helped me on two hands that I should of lost. It was a pay back from the bad beats I've been taking. I'm so happy got rent paid now!!! lol The life of a grinder...a small ball one that is ....for now lol.

The Poker Blog is Back!!!!!

Drum roll please....dddddddddddddddddddd....After a 7 month hiatus from the poker world Micadoo has returned!! I purchased a lap top over the weeked and found out I had 4 free wireless internet connections in my my apartment, thanks to my nieghbors. Well around midnight I decided to log on to BoDog and play some $50 and $100 heads up matches. Needless to say I finshed up + $230 for the one hour session. Not much I know, but I'll take $200 a day, that's only $6k a month. It seems the players are a little weaker and not as wild on BoDog vs Pokerstars. I look foward to having some profitable days coming up online and working my way back to playing in the circuit again.

Im sure alot of you wonder why I did not play poker the past 7 months, well it was alot of things.... First I had my biggest Tournament win ever taking 1st in the $55k guar $10 rebuy tourn on Poker Stars in Feburary. It gave me a huge bankroll, next I left my employer to pursue making a living at poker. I then headed to Vegas for the WPT World Championship @ the Bellagio. I got to play with Jennifer Harman, Todd Brunson, Marco Tranello, and alot of pro's in the $1k satellites for the WPT. I basically chunked my 16k bankroll on 1k satellites. I was + $2k in the cash games while I was there. Basically broke, I put all my stuff in storage moved back to Dallas, (home) got a real job,lived in a hotel here for almost 4 months (my job paid for) till they finally paid for relocation to Texas, and have been working 60+ hours a week since. So the main reason was I didn't have the time or a computer set up after work to play. I also needed to get my head straight. I was on major tilt online after I got back from Vegas. I made and average of $2k amonth off poker for 2years straight before that big win and I know I'm a great player. I'm back on my game now I just needed a lil time out.......Im Baaaaaaaaaack!

Finally I moved!! I'm offically a resident of Coppell now.lol. I had a great trip back to Nashville but was reminded why I moved back to Dallas. Nothing compares to this city. I've lived all over the country and you can't beat Dallas for fun things to do. My new apt is huge. I havent unpacked shit yet and have alot to do to get all settled in, but I got my bed and I sleep like a baby. Jasmine is so happy now. Poor thing was traumatized by a lil poodle since I left Nashville, then the 12hr ride in my UHaul, but she is so happy now. She is the biggest purr machine.

Went to the Tracy Lawerence Concert Saturday Night @ Cowboys and it was packed. It reminded me of the Cowboys of 8 years ago. The wildest place to go out ever. As you can see by the pic it was nuts after the concert. Now my only worry is my taxes. We'll see what unfolds. Shouldn't be too bad.

Hello blogspot. Life has been pretty normal lately, I work alot and play hard when I have time off. I'm excited about finally moving next month. It will be nice to spend some time in Nashville again. What is it now? 10 straight days of 100 degrees. Welcome to Texas. Thats why we have the best air conditioning right? Business has really slowed down and everyone waits till 8 pm to come look at cars. It's no different than when I left for Tennessee. Looks like I'm moving finally next month. My poker career and my $900 car and insurance payment had put a squeeze on me but I'm finally coming out of it. I didn't mess my credit up at all, just had to pay alot of fees. I am personnally making Chase, Capital One, and various other banks profitable. Im starting to miss poker, somedays I just want to run away to Vegas and take another shot, then I wake up and it's time to go to work. I'll be back someday, I just know it.Now I know what not to do next time i make my run at being a pro. The pic is from last Sunday's trip to the lake at Sneaky Pete's.

I'm so busy, I don't myspace or blog very much anymore. Every minute I'm either working, hangin out with friends, or sleeping. I'm not complaining at all. My career is really starting to take off. I would hope 70 hr weeks would do that. I love my job. WWE,(pro wrestling) that's what pro sports has boiled down to. The refs determined the out come of this year's Superbowl and created a new Michael Jordan by rewarding Dewayne Wade with at least two free throws anytime he wants to go to the basket. The best team lost the Superbowl and now the best team lost the Finals.....What a joke.

Otherwise life is going great, I'm making my final decsision on my living arrangements this Sunday. I'm actually leaning towards moving back to my old apartments in Arlington. I went by there last week and found out my old apartment is avaliable for me to rent. It's the coolest apartment I've ever lived in. A true bachelor's pad. I lived there for 4 years and loved every minute of it. I'm getting an apartment till I can settle my tax issues with the IRS, then I'm getting a house. I'm working about 65 hrs a week right now. Funny thing is it doesnt bother me because I LOVE MY JOB!!! Plus since Im still in a hotel I really dont have a home to go home to yet. I'm excited about heading back to Nashville in about 2 1/2 weeks. My best friend Jimmy is coming with me and most of my Nashville friends are ready to party when we get there...should be a memorable night. Well best get back to work. Have blessed day!

Game 6 tomorrow. What a bs game last night. I might get to go to game 6 or 7 with my best friend Jimmy. Tomorrow night will be wild when the mav's win.....unless the ref's keep screwing us. I get my new place 7/15. I can't wait! Life is going well. I'm so glad to be back home. My myspace account is blowing up. I haven't been able to check it lately. I have to go to kinko's since my computer is still in Nashville. That mean's I'll be back in Nashville to get my crap around 7/14. Jimmy is coming with me to join in the road trip home. We'll fly in and drive the UHaul back to Dallas. Should be a fun trip. I hope to have a going away party at the Stage that Sat night. Stay tuned for the details. I love my job, I love my life.

Well since I busted my ass out of the professional poker world and had to get a real job, life is going great. I'm very busy all of the time. I have made so many new friends, plus all my old ones here are keeping me very occupied. I was at Game 2 of the NBA Finals last Sunday.That was a great experience. Go Mavs!! I love my new job, alot more stabilty than poker. As for my love life all I can say is I have no complaints!!! I love this town.

I should be getting my place and moving my stuff from Nashville in the next 4 weeks. The hotel life is getting old. I went to church Sunday and I am so much more happier here than I was in Nashville. Everything happens for a reason.

I got to play a 1 table satellitte at the Bellagio with Todd Brunson and Marco Tranello with Jennifer Harman sitting behind him. Marco and Jen were to my immediate right. I was in poker heaven. I played in another one with Chris Grigorian and busted him to a small stack only to have him put me out later. Over all the trip was learning experiece. In the cash games I was up $1k for the trip. I made big hits at the MGM playing $1/$2 NLH and $2/$5 NLH. My down fall was going on satellite tilt. I played in 10 satelittes and came close but got stuck for 3 dimes. Oh well I'm even for the month and got a free trip to Vegas.

Back to rebuilding the bankroll online. I'll be putting the hours in at the $3/$6 NLH and the $200 NLH heads up sit n go matches. I hope to head back to vegas in three weeks for the WSOPSE at Ceasars and the Mirage WPT event. We''ll see. I'm $645 online today already. :)

First Week as a Full Time Internet Pro....

I made $2300 since last Thrusday. Next week I work in Vegas. My goal is to play in the $1500 buy in tournament (event #4 in the WPT event) at the Bellagio Monday. All the pro's will be there while I'm there. GSN will be taping another season of High Stakes Poker atThe Palms Monday and Tuesday. All the big boys are playing. I aslo found out the Sahara has a test track that for only $10 you can take brand new 2007 Corvette around a 1/2 mile road course twice, or if offroading is your game you can take a new Hummer or Escalade on the off road course. The tracks are permanent and real. They make you take a breathalizer before you can drive. lol. That should be fun. I guess I'm offically a pro now, if you Google Michael Nast you will see thats what Card Player magazine lists me as one. I didnt plan to play today but I couldnt resist and won $200. 3 wins 1 loss in $100 nl heads up matches.

On a funny note, the weather was awsome today so I've had my patio door open. Every now and then a fly would make the mistake of flying in. Bad move. Super Jazz (my cat) is a super preadator. It's the funniest crap watching her chase and jump all over my apartment to get this invader in our house. I about pissed myself it was so funny. I got to video it sometime. Or till I get on a plane that is. I didn't have to play today because I won over $400 yesterday. I went to lunch, visited mom, and now am heading to the Fiddle & Steel for a poker tournament that my friend Jared has invited me to. It's a super- super satelitte for this year's WSOP. I'm playing so good right now, things are going good. Heading to Vegas for the WPT World Championship at the Bellagio and going to try to win a super satelitte to the $25k World Championship. I don't know how long I'll be in Vegas, but this will be a fun trip. I' ve won $1600 in the last 48hrs online. Life is good.

I'm definitely living he poker life. Go to bed around 5 or 6 am. wake up at noon or later. Well as I found out that's not condusive to church at 10 am. I decided to just stay up all night Saturday and go to bed after church. I made it till 8 am and passed out and missed church. I know I suck!

Poker was a wild ride yesterday. Started off losiing (count em) 4 $200 heads up no limit matches that put me minus $800 right off the bat. Well I then won (count em) 6 in a row! After some win on e lose one afew more times I ended the day + $185. Being the $800 loss right off the bat I was happy. In one of those matches I had a guy down to 20 in chips vs my 2980 and he won the next 8 hands and then eventually the match. The ole saying a chip and a chair. So true.

I have won enough lately that I don't really have to play till I get to Vegas Saturday. I'm sure I will though. Going to the new Larry the Cable Guy flick in a few hours, then come home and work (poker) for a while. Life's good, just wish I didn't miss church. The funny thing is I stayed home Saturday night. lol

April 1st and time to start my dream job full time. I won $500 already today. No more poker for me till after church tomorrow. This is what I love about this job, play for maybe an hour , win $500, party tonight, do whatever today not even have to worry about playing or money. Wow. I know its not always this easy but I've takin enough one day $5k swings now I think I can manage them better now. Maybe soon I'll be talking bout my $50k swings per day. My company bought out my personal services contract today and it was a nice buyout to say the least. It was a great company to work for but it wasn't meant to be. Plus being a 1099 contractor is killing me tax wise. So I figure its time to make the jump into the full-time professional poker world. The best part is if it doesn't happen I can always fall back on my career and still make bank. Poker has been very up and down lately but im still + $6K for the year.

I played poker at the Hard Rock Casino in Tampa this weekend. Wow what a great place and poker room, but all you can play in FL is $1/$2 limit games, WTF? but they do have 1 table sit n go's running 24/7. I finished 2nd in a $120 1 table sit n go and cashed $300.

The next month will proboly be the most interesting in my life. I'll keep you posted

+$2800 since my big win two weeks ago. I won $800 Sat & Sun, $200 today. My goal of winning at least $200 a day has been passed everyday so far. I'm sticking mainly to heads up matches between $200 to $1k buy ins. It's quick either way. It's nice to win a $200 match 30 mins after you wake up and not having to worry about playing for the rest of the day. What a life. I hope it just gets better from here on out, it's pretty good right now. Have a blessed day.

Being my part time poker job paid $11k in the last 30 days, I'm seriously considering making a living off my computer for a while. Life is treating me so good right now. I can't believe how great I'm playing and winning right now. It's almost too easy, it's kinda scary. Oh well, I'm on my way to the top of the poker world. Least you can say you knew me in the days before I made it big. lol. Hopefully I make that last statement correct soon. Here are my immediate goals for my poker career.

1. Make at least $6k per month from poker.
2. Play in the World Series in July.
3. Make the money in the WSOP
4. Make it to a TV final table this year.

Wish me luck, when I make it big I won't forget my friends. We will have some great parties and I'm not talking in Nashville either.

I was in Tunica at the Horseshoe last night, playing 10/20 limit holdem and Michael Finley of the San Antonio Spurs sat down at my table and played for about an hour. I finished the night +$450. At times I was down as much as $450, played for six hours so I'm happy with the profit. I'm + $600 since my $9k win on week ago. So life is treating me well. Hopefully I can make another big win this weekend. We'll see.

Coming up on 36 hrs with maybe 3 hrs of sleep. Kinda hard to sleep when you beat nearly 1600 players in a rebuy tournment and Win $9k. I had Pokerstars Western Union me $1k this morning. lol I cashed out $8k into my checking account. That way I won't be tempted to play the 100/200 game or play heads up for $5k and possibly loose it all back. I haven't played but one $50 heads up match which I lost on the second hand which I flopped two pair and got beat by a turn flush. I'm taking a break and enjoying my spoils for a while.

Yes my friends we had a nine way chop in the big $10 rebuy tourney. I was 2nd in chips with 2.2 million. My chop was $8500, we agreed to donate $200 for the winner of the table for a total of $1800 more for the winner. The railbirds went nuts. They couldn't believe all nine agreed to a deal. I had a great chop and was not bitching at all. Originally 9th paid only $953 and 1st paid $15k, 2nd $9100 so it was not a bad chop at all for me. If I had any less chips I would not of agreed to chop. So it got down to me heads up with my 2.4 million vs 6.4 million, after I busted him out of a quick million he offered me a deal on the $1800 ....8 for me 1k for him. It was five a.m. and that would put me up to 9K the biggest money winner..I took it. I busted him out 4 hands later but even after the first chop play was alot diffrent (looser)than before. Yes I guess I have no balls as the railbirds said, but I have $9k for it. Let me feel ...I still have balls.

I won my first Omaha H/L Tournament!!!

I said I wasn't playing again till the Poker Stars VIP 100k freeroll Saturday. Well that's because I have $.03 right now in my Poker Stars account and am not reloading. Well I found $8 in my Party Poker account that I forgot about. First I played in a $6 buy in Limit Holdem 1 table sit n go, I finished 3rd and won $12. I then sat in what I thought was a $11 buy in NL Holdem 1 table sit n go tourney only to find out too late it was actually Limit Omaha H/L. Oops!! I suck at Omaha H/L!! Well I buckled down and said I'm a damn good card player! plus my head is clear today, I can do it! I did!! I won it! $50 woo hoo. I know, not very impressive, but that's a 1st for me in any form of Omaha, so I'm impressed. Maybe this is my road back to profit. I lost round $4k since Kassi broke up with me 3 weeks ago. Good thing I won $6k in December. lol I spent $3k of it on xmas though so that's actually minus $1k to the bankroll in the last 8 weeks. Poker is on a major down slide the last week. Mainly because of my emotional duress of my broken heart. I know better than to play when I'm not right emotionally and i keep paying a hefty price. Well I'm not playing till the VIP 100k freeroll Saturday. Hopefully that will juice my bankroll cause it needs it after the shalacking it has been taking. I still have some $$ for Vegas. This weekend was fun but exhausting I basically woke Saturday and didnt go to bed till Sunday night. I've been losing lately and my bankroll has suffered. Today is Mellow Monday. I'm rested up now and hopefully can win some money today. I'd hate not to have a bankroll for Vegas next month.yuk. Life's ok, it could be better, I'm just dealing with the cards I've been dealt lately. My pair of ace's got cracked. That's an inside joke to myself. My friend Michelle in Texas had been bitching at me forever to get on My Space. So one night while playing poker I decided to see what it was all about. Kassi had been using it to. It's so neat. What a great way to make friends. A girl named Jessica sent me a friend request. (I have no idea how people find me). We've been chattin all day. She's a budding country music singer in Nashville. She has written a song that so applies to my angst right now. I put it up on my profile. She invited me to come watch her sing Downtown at the French Quarter cafe Wednesday night. This is exactley what I need. Something to do and the opprutunity to meet new people. But I've also found out you can get stalkers, and spam disgiushed as a person there too. lol

I've been playing poker while I'm depressed about my break up. I don't play good when I'm down like that. When will I learn. It's good I win so much when Im not. lol

Well I just played for 15 minutes this morning and won $200!! I'm done for today. Taylor & I are going out to have fun, go kart & games yea! Then New Year's Eve with my girl. As Chris Cagle says what a beautiful day! I have a big suprise for Kassi tonight. I know she's a lil stressed because some a-hole broke into her car last night. Hopefully this will make her feel alot better. I think she's deserves this. She has been working so hard and I know she doesn't feel like she ever can get ahead money wise. I want her to leave tomorrow with no worries so she can totally relax and enjoy her friends and family in Oregon. I am goin to do all I can to insure this because it will make ME happy. So I'm +$500 since my last post. Went to Media Play's store closing sale and got 8 CDs for only $50. I got 50 Cent's new one, Big & Rich's latest, Toby Kieth's Greatest's Hits 2, Billy Squier's Greatest, Def Leppard Rock of Ages 2 disc collection, Garth Brooks, and one for Kassi I think she'll like. Taylor & I heading to Opryland to have fun it's our last night together. On a side note I've found out the kittys really like silly string. OMG it's the funniest thing I've ever seen. Tay & I almost crapped our pants we were laughting so hard. Im horrible

We'll I'm having fun +$430 so far today, lunch with kas, and spending the rest of the day with Taylor. I had fun with kassi and her friends from work last night, as you can see from the pic. I didn't sleep good so after lunch today i crashed till around 7pm. I've been checking into a limo for New Year's the lowest qoute I've gotten is $800. I've paid for half of it with my play today. I'm going to sleep on it.

I played way to loose in it and busted out in 45 mins.I cashed in 2 small tourneys yesterday and all my profit is from $100 to $200 heads up matches. I really am ready to become a full time pro, get out of my apartment and travel alot. That's one of my 2006 resolutions. Quitting smoking, I've already begun my nicorette. lol

Kassi & I have decided to work our problems out together. I don't want to lose her and she doesn't want to lose me. I don't ever want to feel like she is going to miss out on something in life because of her relationship with me. I want her to know the opposite. She has the freedom to do what ever she wants to do. I want her to be happy. In the last few days I think she realizes that if she let me go she just might be doing what has caused her anxieties now, missing out on something great. Today was wonderful. Taylor, Kassi's Family. I try to be very thoughtful, it's one of the most satisfying things to do in life for me. I love making others happy! It makes me happy!!! :) I will remeber the last 90 days very well and I know that 2006 will be the BEST year ever in my life. I really feel it!!!!

Kassi & I have decided to just date for now. It will be difficult for me because I don't trust myself in this situation. My heart is still wounded and if someone treats me well I'm going to have a hard time ignoring them. Hell that's what brought me and her together. I don't want to lose her, I still hurt because of the possibilty of losing her exsists and the fact that when something very hurtful to me happend in her life, she want's to break up, "just date" and possibly do it again. I only want her to be happy and if our relationship can't answer the questions she has, It might never be able to. I guess I'm a lil conceited, I know I'm a great catch, but if your not catching there's nothing I can do. I guess I could wait but it will not be easy. I feel like running away but something tells me to wait. I will for a while. As I said before when she leaves in a week it be a major test for me. I don't want to meet someone else, but If I do, I hope it's someone who wants the same things that I do. True Love, God, Family, is ready to travel the world and LIVE life outside the grasp of the grind. Dah that's why I didnt date under 30. There's nothing wrong with what Kassi wants right now in her life. I respect her descision about us. I understand but then I don't because I am the biggest BRAT.

Im +$200 so far today. That's good for having AA vs q7, KK vs 98, & AK vs A5 all cracked heads up, or I'd be up $500.

Im very conflicted right now. I have two voices in my head, thus the two Michael's. One is telling me to cut my losses and move on with my life, the other, which I've never heard before, is telling me to wait. I have been asked to wait, I've never done that before and vowed that I never would. One Michael is very bitter right now, the other is more understanding. The advise I get from others is run like hell, r u stupid or what? One Michael agrees with them, one thinks they don't understand the situation. I wish I could turn it off that quick. I'm not making a decision till next month. I am going to enjoy the holidays with my family and friends. I want to make the right decision and see what happens between now and then.I promised I would wait and not give up. I will for a while. Next month when everybody's gone will be the true test of me and my true feelings. Michael vs. Michael. One will be happy to be alone, one won't. One is ready to give up, one is not. One is ready to be single again, one is not. One is selfishly trying to protect me, the other loves unconditionally. I am bipolar!!! crap lol Sorry not taking drugs here. All I can do is pray for proper guidance, that is the true prescription. Problem is, will I listen? I hope so. No matter what happens I'll know I'll be fine, what ever the result, and I'm not worried about it, just conflicted. I know what I REALLY want and need, everybody that knows me knows too. +150 is a start. Playing better poker because I'm at peace once again. I won't be playing for a while with the holidays coming up , maybe a few head's up matches Fri, then proboly alot of play Sunday. It would be nice to get in the $500 nl tourney. I can say I'm neither happy or sad right now, I'm kinda nuetral. Does that mean Im bipolar? Plus with 500 miles of driving tomorrow it's kinda hard to get excited about starting at 5am. Oh, I might have a lil time to play tomorrow evening after all.Long as Taylor doesn't empty my account while I'm gone. lol I'm joking Taylor.

This is paramount to any type relationship. Kassi and I are getting better at it. It's been hard for both of us, but neither of us are quick to draw lines in the sand. We may not communicate effectively all the time but I feel we are learning from our mistakes and we can both move foward in a positive way. I value her happiness over most anything in my life. I've never met someone who deserves it more than her. I never want to be the cause of any negativity in her life, ever.

On that note I thank the power of prayer. It has cleared my mind and saved my sanity. Christmas is going to be WONDERFUL this year and im so excited!!! But I still need a few stiff xmas drinks!! lol Im horrible.I've been losing my ass at poker because I've been playin while I'm emotionally drained, not a profitable combo at all and I know better I just didn't give a crap. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!

Why does life have to be so complicated? Why do people have to hurt? Love, what is it? What does it mean? Why can it be takin and givin so freely. What makes people change in ways that hurt me so badly? Why does temptation cause love to perish? Is it satan? I don't know. I have temptations I don't stop in my life. Smoking, just not truly being a child of god all of my life. I have temptations I can control because of the person I truly am. I guess it's your make up, your character. I have been wounded more deeply than I can ever remember. The worst part is if I deserved it I could deal with it so easily and move on. I can't deal with this and moving feels on like it will kill me. Im 38 yrs old, my lifelong dream is to have a family with someone who truly loves me, that's all I ever wanted. It's simple, but has been impossible to achieve in my lifetime. Yes I have a beautiful son, but I haven't had a family since my father passed when I was 14. Yes I've been married but I've never had a wife, a ring, a wedding. I've made it through life pretty well because of my abilty to block out what's really missing in my life ....Love & God. When u have what you think is love and it's gone without explaination it only highlights the dreams never achieved in my life. I feel so unfulfilled, yet is seems so simple. Love and God. That's all one ever needs to be truly happy and fulfilled.

The beauty of all this is the unconditional love of 3 people in my life Jesus, my Dad and my son. Without them I would perish. I have prayed about this and I have been given direction. My direction is to fight with all my might for someone very dear to me. No matter how bad I want to give up on them and move on. In the same prayer I realized that I must rededicate my life to christ if not just for me but for my son. I feel like today is a turning point of my life . I have two paths to chose from, the on on the right..God's path or the left ...the path of self destruction. I pray Iwill make the right choice. The 1st test will be Jan 1st when Taylor leaves and I will truly be here alone. I need to remember that God will always be with me. Oh this christmas is really beginning to suck. The worst part is I thought it would be the best one ever. Life is cruel sometimes. Least nobody has died. lol

Cha ching!!! Took me 20 minutes to win that!! Thats $25 a minute. LOL Well as you can see the roll continues. I figured I'd step it up today. Tuesday was a wild ride. I lost nearly $1000 playing $200 heads up matches and went from $1050 in my Pokerstars account to $60. So I played heads up for $50 and won, then heads up for $100 and won, then 3 more $100 heads up matches won all of them. So I now move back up to $200 matches and I go 4 wins vs 2 losses. I retire to bed with $630 now in my account. I wake Wednesday and go 4 and 2 again, back to where I started Tuesday $1050. Wow.
I definitely have gamble in me, or as they say in the poker world, "Balls". I sat down today and played a head's up for $500 against some dude in Europe, as you see in the above email, I love taking cash from freakin foriegners!! This is America's game dammitt!!. Now I'm up nearly $3000 since Vegas a month ago. Yes, a very nice Christmas bonus.

FSN Will Hold $60 Million Tournament

Players Will Buy In for $10 Million

Fox Sports Network has teamed up with soon-to-be-launched Mansionpoker.net to sponsor the largest single-table tournament in the history of poker.

The 43-week Mansionpoker.net Pokerdome Series is slated to debut on Sunday, May 15, 2006. A few weeks later, a six-person winner-take-all tournament takes place at the series’ first “mega-event” on July 12 in which the winner receives $60 million. Each player will buy in to the event for $10 million. Phil Ivey is the first person to sign up for the event. FSN will release a name of a participant a month until the entire field is set.

But that’s just the beginning.

The series will go on for the next three years and will be played in the soon-to-be-built “Pokerdome” arena. The Pokerdome will contain a poker table, complete with an automated card tracking system, integrated chip counting capabilities, hole card-cam, and robotic cameras focused on each player's face.

It will also come equipped with special cameras and card technology that allow viewers to see the burn cards before dealers flip the active cards, plus a rabbit-hunting camera for each hand, letting fans know what would have happened if each hand went to completion.

The first event will take place at the Crown Casino in Melbourne, Australia. The next two “mega-events,” which will be held in 2007 and 2008, will have prize pools of $75 million and $100 million.

Mansionpoker.net will be launched sometime in 2006.

12 days till xmas!! I've won $500 since Friday and that puts me + $2100 the last 2 weeks. For the first time in my semi-pro poker career I don't need my pay check on the 15th to pay bills. I'm up nearly $2,000 this week. I won $200 in less than an hour today. My relationship with Kassi is incredible, it's Christmas, and Taylor will be here soon. Life couldn't be going better, with the exception of someone who keeps antogonizing Kassi & I. I plan to play a full day tomorrow, I'll keep ya posted.

I've had to work at my real job the last three days but I have managed to win another $150 since my last post in very limited play. Its very cold here, Im sure it is everywhere right now. Had a wonderful dinner with Kassi, her grand parents, and her family at the Aquarium cafe. What a neat place. I'd never been before. Taylor gets here in exactley one week. I'm so excited, especially since poker has provided my xmas bonus early this year. :)

On a personal note Kassandra and I had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I'm so happy that she is in my life.The pic is my screensaver. Isn't she hot? Taylor gets here in 2 1/2 weeks. I can't wait!! Now I have to pony up for the XBox 360. Well its late and I'm what I call happy tired!! Cause I finally won today.In my last heads up match I was short stacked 190 vs 2790 in chips and I came back for the win!!!Pay at this window please! I am the Master!! lol

Another great week. I have won another $400 since my last post. That now puts me up $1127 since Vegas. Put up the tree with Kassi last night, as you can see.I had a great family Turkey Day, except for the Cowboys losing :( It was the damn uniforms. The same ones Washington beat them in earlier this year. When I saw them wearing them, I knew that they were going to lose. I hope Jerry can figure that out soon. Ditch those Biatches!! Glad I don't bet on football.

A great few days of poker. Im now up over $700 since Vegas! Last 2 days I've just played one heads up match for $100 and won and immediately put the $$ in my checking account. My short term goal is to pocket $100 a day. That's $3k a month in profit. WOW!!! What a Trip!!

5 freaking days in Vegas, Tournament of Champions, the big game, all the pro's out, Jose Cuevro 1800 chilled, no sleep, and pictures galore.

I'm back home!! What a wild ride. Let me break in down on a day by day basis.

Monday head over for the start if day two for the Tournament of Champions, which will air Xmas eve on ESPN, you might see me on it. 30 players left, including Doyle Brunson, Phil Helmuth, Mike Matsow, Hoyt Corkins, "The Grinder" Michael Mizrachi, & Johhny Chan. After that I head over to the $4/$8 at the Belliago, 4 Hrs later +$240 and I won $300 on the Colts blowout of the Pats. + $540 for the 1st day!!!

Tuesday haed over to the final table at Tourny of Champs but too many people in line to watch. 0n too the Bellagio, 3 hrs later + $140. Now +$680 total. I have a work get together on Freemont St. I buy one of those yard long margaritas and it turns into a wild Vegas night with one of my producers named Jason and his wife. They have never been out of TN in their lives, so they are nuts and ready to party. I blow $150 on craps and keno of all things and another $250 on partying at Coyote Ugly with Jason and his wife. All nighter.

Wed. head over to my new job at the Bellagio. lol. I play er for 4 hours and am +$1 then in the next three I get up $250. While I'm playing the Big Game starts right behind me. Doyle Brunson, Jennifer Harman, Ted Forrest, Gus Hansen, Barry Greenstien, David Grey, Eli Elizra, Johhny Chan. They play a $2k/$4k mixed game of stud, ohmaha, low ball, 27, and holdem. Then after my Dinner break I finally , after playing 8 hours start playing like an amatuer and end up $-230 for the day. Im beat, I crash.

Thrusday I do this touristy things in the morning. See the casinos I haven't before, shop, then head back to the Bellagio to play. I loss $100 in about an hour so quit. I was playing good just horrible beats like my aa vs jj (river jack). Then I enter a $67 torney at the Luxour about 35 enteries and I finshed third to win $250. That put's me up $150 for the day. I want to check out the night clubs on my last night. So I head over to Coyote Ugly for a Yard Margarita, the RA at the Luxour (ho hum) then to Studio 54 at MGM it was the spot. One of the coolest clubs I've been in. Bout 3 a.m. I head back to the Luxour and find an interesting game. $50 buy in $1/$2 NL Holdem game. You can only buy in for $50 and can only rebuy if you have less than $50. Wow, I shy away from No Limit ring games because u can lose a few k on one hand like aa vs kk.
This was a game that allowed u to play without that danger. It was around 4 am when I sat down at the table with my McDonalds in hand and I'm drunk. I sit down and asct like an out of control tourist who does know what I'm doing. The 1st hand I get is AK. I'm all in for my $50. I lose to 1010. Next $50 all in I lose my 1010 to AK, next I lose JJ to A10, on and on I end up losing $250. I'm to bed at 7am with a 11am check out. Ouch

Friday after checking out I have till 3pm before my flight I play the NL game and suffer three bad beats all 2 or 3 outers and end up -$150 for the final day. So that makes me exactley even for the trip. LOL What the heck? We'll I should of had alot more profit, take out the bad beats and the 3hrs of fish play Wed night I would of been $1000 up. I'm over all happy with my live play. I played all cash games an only one tournament which I finished 3rd. Cash games are not my strong point. I really shy away from them, but this trip has really improved my cash game play and I'm alot more confident in it now.

I'm home a ready to get back to my online game. I'm ready for some big tourney's this weekend. The best part of my trip was coming home to Kas. She makes me so happy. Take care. I'll try to put up the pics tomorrow.

I got into the $215 buy in for $120 in the $10 rebuy satellitte. I busted out around 1800 of 3450 players. Then I won a $100 heads up match, so I'm -$27 for the day. That's it for poker today, I've got laundry, packing, and a 7:20 am flight to catch. My first stop will be Ceasars to check out the Tournament of Champions. Don't know if they will allow railbirds. I'll find out. I got kicked off the floor of the WSOP for using my camera phone. I'll see who I can get my picture with this time & post em here.

I dream of playing in this game someday. Nothin like a few $100k swings in one day. It really seperates the men from the boys. I'm sorry, also the girls from the women, please forgive me Jennifer. I partied too much last night at the Stage on Broadway with Rob and a few other friends. I was very hung over and didn't get to bed till 4:30. I'm playing in the big tourney @ 3:30 pm tomorrow on Poker Stars. Maybe I'll see you there. Maybe not. lol 1st should pay well over $100k once again. Does it have my name on it?

All the major players are going to be in Vegas while I'm there. I'll put up some pics when I get back. I didn't play today because I plan on playing a full schedule tomorrow. The beauty of poker as a job, you can play when ever you feel like it. Some advice to you beginners. Unless you get real lucky, it takes a few years of playing to get to a point where you can make a profit. It cost me over $40k to learn how to be a winning player and only became one after the World Series in which I cashed for around$32k in a side tournament. I havent used any of my own money since June, that's a record for me. I'm currently averaging about $1500 a month in profit since the WSOP. I hope my Vegas trip is the beginning of the end for my real job. Who knows it could be the end of my poker career lol. I'm planning to play in the WPT event in January at the Atlantis in the Bahamas. I'm playing in satelittes to win the $12k all expenses paid entry. I'll be there. 1st should be worth over a million..
